I’ve not really watched Formula 1 for years, but after the rise and rise of Lewis Hamilton I’m suddenly getting back into it. Tonight I watched the US Grand Prix in Indianapolis on ITV1. Wow, and I mean wow. That guy drives like there’s a missile following him around the track. He’s 22, he’s never driven on these American tracks before but he’s flying.. and I mean flying.
What I also love about watching F1 again is the fact that the TV pictures from America are now far better. They’re in widescreen, there’s no grainy images and the pictures are perfect quality. It’s great that USA has gone hi-def, because we can now watch US TV without having to put up with the naff pictures! :)
