There’s a whole mess of stuff on YouTube that kids shouldn’t look at. I’ve got a child and I’d never let him use YouTube without me standing right next to him. The “related videos” is a quick way for kids to get from Thomas the Tank Engine to Thomas and his F**kin W****.
Anyhow. I just clicked on YouTube tonight and this is on their home page. This is their MAIN PAGE. Sure, it might be a funny video, but I’ve not logged in. This isn’t based on any preferences. It’s not my fault I’m seeing this. This is what my child could be looking at right now. A man wrapping cling filme around his face. Nice one YouTube. Nice one “reactive moderation”. How long before some kid copies this? This is on the standard YouTube home page. The HOME PAGE.
