I make a lot of long journeys on motorways and, if I’m honest, they’re all quite dull. However, I’ve found a way to brighten up these journeys just a little.
All you need to do is sit in lane one of the motorway, Sit behind a truck. It’s great for your fuel consumption and you don’t get stressed out so easily.
Next, when you’re getting a little bored of looking at the truck in front, wait for a pretty large gap in traffic and then let the car / van in lane two drive past. Let it carry on for quite some distance, then pull out and go from your casual 55mph all the way up to 70mph.
For a few brief seconds you can have yourself or your son / daughter believe that you’re chasing after some bad guys.
