For reasons I can’t explain, I put £35.35 worth of diesel into my car this morning. I was quite impressed. Well, I was as impressed as you can be at 7.15 on a windy filling station.
Here in the UK you can either pay at the pump or walk inside after sticking your selected fuel in. I went inside and got chatting with the lady behind the counter..
“Ooo, £35.35, that’s a tricky one to get”, she said.
