..has meant that this week, from Monday until Thursday, I have counted 10 “scrap iron” vans coming round our street. I guess they could be the same two or three guys going round each day but I doubt that there’s anyone left with scrap!
Oh, and I must applaud the one scrap-iron guy – he plays the “Steptoe and Son” music.. :)
