This is a CD which takes pride of place in my music collection. It’s Born Slippy by Underworld. It tore up the dancefloors all over the UK and beyond a while back and I first heard it after watching TrainSpotting at the cinema.
The track didn’t really get a full release for a good while, but after getting played repeatedly all over the place they released this one. If you’ve never heard of “Underworld” or “Born Slippy” this website states…

It still gets played every now and again in clubs, and you’ll still find people bouncing up and down shouting…

I heard it on the radio this morning – I was banging my feet and tapping my fingers away like a nutter. But then the DJ said something to ruin it all… something to ruin my memories of running onto the dance floor like a melon within 2 seconds of the track starting and dancing away like I was trying to swat a million flies..
….this track… the absolute anthem of all dance tracks… is… TEN YEARS OLD …
I’m working with someone now who was only 8 years old when this tune started getting played in the clubs..
I’m off to cry into my beer now..
