Mr Bush sorts out the whole Lebanon and Israel thing

The Middle East has been plunged once again into an escalating crisis. More attacks, bloodshed and air-raids and no end in sight as Israel and Lebanon trade blows. The Hezbollah raid into Israel, in which eight Israeli soldiers were killed and two were captured, was a provocative attack which caused Israel to immediately retaliate.

The situation is pretty desperate, with global leaders either calling for calm or considering whether to send troops into the region to try and stop the violence.

Que President George Bush… Another classic moment today as he chews what seems to be the biggest piece of chewing-gum in the world. His rather “interesting” comments were captured on camera after he left his microphone on at the G8 summit in St Petersburg. As he leans back, slopping his gob like some 12-year-old hoodie, he gives Tony Blair this piece of wisdom…

“See, the irony is, what they really need to do is to get Syria to get Hizbollah to stop doing this s**t”.

It’s all so simple in Mr Bush’s world. :)
