I appreciate that this isn’t Windows Mobile related, however I had to stop and give this email from long-time reader Russell Beuken the publicity it deserves. He states…
“On May 13th 2006, my brother and his best mate were killed by a drink driver. Earlier this year the driver in question received two 4-year sentences to run concurrently. The maximum possible sentence is 14 years, yet judges don’t hand out long jail terms for one reason or another.
My youngest brother started a petition on the PM’s website. We are trying to drum up more support, and as a member of this site I would like to call on the thousands of other members to visit this link and if they agree.”
