It looks like a restaurant just around the corner from our house is trying a new type of customer service by putting this on their receipts. Joe Delucci’s, in Lichfield, are a bit embarrased about the whole thing, with owner Nigel Langsdon saying that the message had been meant to be seen only by kitchen staff and he didn’t know how it ended up as an item on the receipt.
….my arse. Of course he knows. He’s decided to play a prank and create an item called “Suck my d*** f*** face” and put it onto the order for kitchen staff to see. He’s obviously forgotten that this order would then show up on the menu too.
The restaurant has offered a full apology and a free meal to the group who received this rather rude receipt. The food looks bloody gorgeous, so I might pay them a visit myself. Perhaps when they ask for a tip I should just tell them to “F*** off” :)
