It was certainly interesting to hear about a shoe being thrown at US President Bush. Firstly I was amazed that it wasn’t an American citizen that had done it, secondly I was pretty shocked at the accuracy of the shoe-thrower. The Iraqi reporter apparently shouted something about Bush being a dog, then chucked his shoes at the President.
This event shows two things. Firstly, the President was right to say that weapons would eventually be found in Iraq.. it’s the footwear. Secondly, we’ve found something that George Bush is actually good at – ducking.
