I use Diesel. When the Budget was announced it cost £1.41 per litre at my local garage. The government reduced the fuel duty by a penny, making it £1.40. This morning it’s £1.48 per litre – that’s only a month since the budget. It’s gone up more than a penny per week.
At this rate it will be £2 per litre by Christmas.
