These driverless pods have finally been switched on at Heathrow airport and they appear to work well. If these were placed onto the hard-shoulder of Britains motorways and sped up a little we could have a possible solution.
Someone should tell them that the pods should be in the left lane .. ;)
Seriously though, imagine a kerb running down the M6 with these vehicles on the hard-shoulder…
