There was a big fuss yesterday about the fact that HP USA have “brought back” Windows 7 as an OS on their machines.
Let’s all be honest. If people want a touch-screen GUI they’ll get a tablet and it probably won’t be a Windows device. If they want something with any real keyboard and work-style desktop PC then they’ll want Windows 7 because, let’s admit it, Windows 8 just doesn’t work in business.
Windows 8 has an identity issue, and most businesses will stick with Windows 7.
