Another blog so soon? Yes, ‘cus today quite a bit happenend outside the world of mobile phones. Firstly, we had the announcement that Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles are to marry. Now .. I’m not going to say much about this.. however, I think this screenshot from Sky News was quite funny..
Look at that face! :) Now… I don’t want you to think I’ve gone all weird, but come on.. If you were Prince Charles, and it was about 12 years ago.. if you had the choice, would you ..
a) Stop being an idiot and hold onto Princess Diana

b) Sod off with horsey face, then let your nice missus go off with some bloke, getting chased by photographers, then coming to an unfortunate end in a French tunnel.

Also today we have the rather crazy news item about riots and stabbings following a sale at a North London branch of infamous furniture-store Ikea. In the midst of the fighting, someone managed to record this video of the action on their mobile phone! I think this Sky News item gives most of the details, including info from someone who was there at the time…
“I travelled from South London to North London for this openeing. I went with my wife and we queued up from 9pm. Eventualy we got in around midnight and it was total chaos, pushing, swearing etc. People were fighting with each other, bottles flying everywhere, my wife got hit on the head by a bottle, one person got stabbed, it was like the end of the world! And to finish it off, those lucky punters who managed to get a bargain were robbed of their goods outside the stoor by muggers. These muggers were waiting outside the store for people to come out with their goods then rob them, how sad! We had to stay in the store till 3am until riot police cleared it all up. There were ambulances everywhere. I still managed to get a leather chair for 45… I blame the area, it’s a bit rough and run down.”

Still… it sounds worth it for that 45 quid leather chair eh ?!!! Mental… Perhaps this should be the new “How to…” guide for Ikea…
