Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond is now improving but remains seriously ill in hospital after crashing during filming of the rather excellent TopGear TV show. He was driving a jet-powered “dragster” in an attempt to break the UK land-speed record at almost 300mph when it swerved violently, flipped over and embedded itself nose-first into the grass next to the runway he was driving along.
Hopefully he’ll recover fully very soon and we’ll get to see more of him on TV. Top Gear – the worlds best motoring TV show – has hit huge viewing figures lately and Richard has taken on absolutely anything that’s been thrown at him.
