Donate to Hamsters Charity

As you may know from my previous blog, Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond was in a serious crash earlier this week. He’s now making a recovery and is on a general ward after the accident which occured during filming for the top BBC show in a jet-powered car on an airfield near York. Richard, 36, suffered a brain injury however he and his wife wanted well-wishers to stop sending flowers and instead make a donation to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance (who airlifted him to hospital) instead.

I’ve also got some personal reasons for promoting the Air Ambulance charities. As far as I’m aware all of the Air Ambulance helicopters in the UK run entirely from donations so they’re extremely reliant on us lot. The money which has been flooding in from the Richard Hammond fans has been phenomenal and has “brought forward” plans to buy a second helicopter by Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Keep these things flying – go on, donate a little here.
