What the flying CHUFF is going on with TV at the moment?! I remember, when I was a kid, looking forward to the Christmas break for all the Christmas specials, all the big movies and the comedy shows. What did we get this year?
Fup all. That’s what we got.
I’ve got some time off at the minute and every other night I’m flicking through the oodles of channels and finding absolutely nothing worth watching. It’s just rubbish, utter rubbish. Take tonight for example. On ITV1 there’s the funniest moments of Coronation Street whilst on BBC1 we’ve got some crappy “Celebrity Mastermind”. What a pile of old arse. It’s almost as if some TV executive farted in a meeting and people thought it was a programme idea.
Christmas Day was just as bad. Some poxy Doctor Who special which was obviously filmed in the height of summer with Catherine Tate running around people wearing shorts and trying to pretend it was Christmas Day. I watched it for about 5 minutes purely because I was expecting Catherine Tate to shout out, “Me Dear? Gay Dear? No Dear?” or “The Dirty B******ds”

Anyway, I must go. I’ve got to prepare my brain for “The Best Ever Spitting Image Moments” which is showing later tonight.
